Product Description:

This Cyperus species is not very difficult in cultivation, given that it survives it rather long adaptation period. It grows best under lots of light (0.5 – 1 watt per litre). There is no need to fertilise with CO2, however, if CO2 is added it enhances growth significantly. This plant likes its water on the cooler side, thus a temperature of 26 °C should not be exceeded for optimal growth. A good supply of nitrate, phosphate, potassium and micronutrients enhance growth and further a healthy look.

Leaves:

Narrow, long, and grass-like.

Bright green in color.

Can grow to a length of 20-35 cm (8-14 inches) and a width of about 3-6 mm (0.1-0.2 inches).

Soft and wavy, creating a gentle, flowing effect in water.

Lighting: Requires moderate to high lighting. Intense light helps in maintaining its bright green color and promotes healthy growth.

CO2 Requirements: Beneficial but not strictly necessary. Supplementing with CO2 can enhance growth and overall health.

Substrate: Prefers a nutrient-rich substrate to anchor its roots and draw nutrients.
