Returns

Our policy lasts 3 days. If 3 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as Food, Fish, Medicine, Fragile, Plants cannot be returned.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Any item that is returned more than 3 days after delivery

Warranty

The majority of products do not have a warranty, but a few do, and that is clearly mentioned on the product description page.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

We do not provide guarantees for damaged items returned to us.

Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation & Refund Policy (“Policy”) forms an integral part of the Terms & Conditions of Cloning Aqua Pets (“Cloning Aqua Pets”, “we”, “us”, “our”) and is governed by the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and applicable laws of India.

By placing an order on www.cloningaquapets.com or through any official sales channel of Cloning Aqua Pets, the customer (“you”, “your”) agrees to be bound by this Policy.

1. Order Cancellation – General Products

1.1 Customers may request cancellation of an order by contacting Cloning Aqua Pets Support through the communication methods provided on the Contact Us page. All requests must mention the Order ID and should be sent from the registered email ID.

1.2 Cancellation requests shall be accepted only if the order has not been shipped from our facility.

1.3 Upon acceptance of a valid cancellation request, the order shall be cancelled and the refund shall be initiated within three (3) to four (4) working days, subject to applicable deductions as mentioned in this Policy.

2. Payment Gateway Charges

2.1 In the event of any approved cancellation or refund, 2.5% of the total order value shall be deducted towards non-refundable payment gateway processing charges levied on Cloning Aqua Pets upon successful payment.

2.2 This deduction shall apply to all customer-initiated cancellations and refunds, except where the order is cancelled by Cloning Aqua Pets due to stock unavailability or operational reasons.

3. Live Fish, Livestock & Aquatic Plants

3.1 Orders containing live fish, aquatic livestock, invertebrates, shrimp, snails, or live aquatic plants are strictly non-cancellable and non-refundable once the order is confirmed.

3.2 No cancellation, return, exchange, or refund shall be entertained for live organisms after packing, dispatch, or shipment, under any circumstances.

3.3 Cloning Aqua Pets shall not be liable for losses caused due to transit delays, improper acclimatization, unsuitable tank conditions, water parameters, power failures, or customer mishandling.

3.4 Any claims related to live fish or livestock must be reported within two (2) hours of delivery, along with clear, unedited photo and video evidence. Acceptance of such claims shall be at the sole discretion of Cloning Aqua Pets.

4. Customized, Made-to-Order & High-Value Products

4.1 Orders placed for customized, made-to-order, or specially fabricated products (including custom aquariums, cabinets, aquascapes, premium setups, and large glass tanks above 1.5 feet) shall not be eligible for full refunds under any circumstances.

4.2 Refund eligibility for customized orders shall be determined solely by Cloning Aqua Pets, based on production stage, materials used, labor involved, and the specific cancellation scenario.

4.3 Depending on the evaluation, customized orders may be:

Partially refundable, or
Completely non-refundable

4.4 In cases where a customized order is deemed non-refundable, the customer must mandatorily accept delivery of the completed order.

4.5 Refusal to accept delivery of a non-refundable customized order shall not entitle the customer to any refund, and any additional storage, re-delivery, or handling charges shall be borne entirely by the customer.

4.6 Any advance payment, booking amount, or partial payment made for customized or high-value products shall be strictly non-refundable.

4.7 Minor variations in dimensions, glass thickness, silicone finish, color shade, or design due to manufacturing tolerances shall not be considered defects.

4.8 Charges towards installation, transportation, packing (thermocol/wooden crate), handling, and setup services are non-refundable under all circumstances.

5. Cancellation After Shipment & Returns

5.1 Once an order has been shipped, cancellation requests shall not be accepted.

5.2 In exceptional cases where a return is approved at the sole discretion of Cloning Aqua Pets:

All forward and return shipping, packing, and handling charges shall be borne by the customer
Refunds, if any, shall be processed only after inspection and approval

6. Refund Processing

6.1 Approved refunds shall be initiated within 3–4 working days from approval. Actual credit timelines may vary depending on banks or payment gateways.

6.2 Refunds shall be issued only to the original payment method.

6.3 No cash, cheque, UPI, or alternate refund modes shall be provided.

7. Rights Reserved by Cloning Aqua Pets

7.1 Cloning Aqua Pets reserves the right to cancel orders due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, logistics constraints, or suspected fraud.

7.2 Cloning Aqua Pets reserves the right to reject cancellation, refund, or return requests not compliant with this Policy.

7.3 All decisions taken by Cloning Aqua Pets shall be final and binding.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts having jurisdiction over Cloning Aqua Pets’ registered place of business.
